The Job Application Workshop is designed to provide participants with comprehensive guidance on creating effective resumes, preparing compelling cover letters, obtaining letters of reference and understanding employers’ expectations. This workshop provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge to create a curriculum vitae (CV) that highlights their qualifications and experience clearly and concisely.

Participants will learn how to tailor their resumes to be specific to job opportunities, highlighting relevant skills and experiences. Participants will also gain training in how to write cover letters that capture the attention of employers and demonstrate their motivation and suitability for desired positions.

Furthermore, the workshop will delve into the importance of reference letters and provide practical strategies for obtaining solid recommendations from previous employers, mentors or professors. Participants will understand the critical role of reference letters in validating their skills and character, and will learn how to effectively approach potential references.
